Marketing Associate
Basic Function: Work with the Director of Marketing and the Marketing/MarCom team on tactical communications activities that increase revenue and market share. Support strategic marketing initiatives as needed. Editing/Writing: proof all marketing and sales collateral, newsletter articles, and client presentations or proposals; Assist with writing promotional copy; Co-coordinate, write, and edit articles used in the corporate newsletter (The High Ground)
Marketing and Sales Collateral Development: develop and co-design marketing and sales collateral internally or through use of external vendors; this includes product overviews, white papers, company brochures, and any/all sales tools used at tradeshows and events.
RFP Coordination and Support - respond to Request For Proposal and client questionnaires; support account management and client requests for both the Lending and Insurance communities.
Tradeshow Support and Client Event Coordination - support the planning, coordination, and execution of company or industry tradeshows, and conferences as well as support for special client events and gift initiatives
Web Editing and Marketing: write, edit, and maintain product messaging content on floodcert.com, the company intranet the SOURCE, and maintain updated sales collateral and verify links
Special Marketing and Sales Projects as assignedStarting salary: $35,100 - $40,000 depending on skills and experience.Qualifications
Technical requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Marketing, Marketing Communications, or a related field from a four-year university; or, two to four years related experience and training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 years project management and coordination experience either in a professional or voluntary capacity
Basic knowledge (in theory or practice) of Marketing and Marketing Communications principles
Must have a general understanding of market dynamics and business operations.
2 years writing/editing experience in a professional or voluntary capacity
2 years progressive proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
1 year working knowledge of HTML, Siebel Sales, and Microsoft Access is preferred
Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus.Behavioral requirements:
