Market Development Manager - Plastics

This is a home based position with one of North America’s largest producers of sheet plastics - quickly positioning themselves as an industry leader.


Your role in this position will be targeting specialty accounts, securing specifications and acting as liaison throughout the sales process. This opportunity will involve you in market research, competitive intelligence, identifying opportunities and developing relationships with distributors and direct customers as well as evaluating sales channels and converting specs into sales.

This is a highly visible position with a major role of developing new business in specialty, high profit markets. Travel will be primarily throughout the Western region but will also include some travel nationally. Outstanding growth potential within all areas of the organization. REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for this position you must have Sales experience with manufactured products sold through the distributor channel. This could be in the chemical, plastics or building products industries. A degree is a strong plus but will consider equivalant experience. Strongly prefer someone residing in Southern California.
