Manager Integrated Marketing

The down-to-earth, pragmatic environment is focused on results, and employees are passionate about making a difference.The Manager of Multi-Cultural Integrated Marketing is responsible for managing integrated marketing programs spanning across all operating divisions within the ConAgra Foods Inc. organization. Under the leadership of the Director of Integrated Marketing and the VP of Multi Cultural Marketing, this individual will effectively set the direction for integration for our brands and our tier 1 customers by translating marketing & sales objectives into targeted consumer driven strategies. Must have experience in developing consumer promotion/integrated marketing plans and executing with excellence. Expert experience with CPG tactics including, but not limited to, local event marketing, direct to consumer marketing, online marketing, in-store effectiveness campaigns, customer specific programs, grass roots marketing, sponsorships, non traditional reach marketing is required. This individual must possess senior level experience negotiating and managing multiple vendors and agency personnel & contract agreements. Must be able to navigate well through a matrix organization and foster collaboration.Lead plan development and strategic direction for Multi Cultural function that includes up to 8 events annually and incorporates over 8 ConAgra Foods brands. (Ex. Chef Boyardee, PAM, Rosarita, Snack Pack, Egg Beaters, Reddi Wip, Wesson, Hunt's etc.)
Work in concert with Consumer Insights to fully understand the dynamics of the unique consumer profiles to recommend effective Integrated Marketing strategies
Responsible for post promotion evaluation of all program performances to report and incorporate implications into future program development.
Develop compelling targeted consumer communication strategies that is built based on brands' architecture work
Manage and execute cross-division, multi-branded consumer marketing programs
Manage Integrated Marketing budgets for Multi-Cultural Marketing
Develop Sales materials for customer teams
Articulates the strategic foundation of plan to client brands, customer teams and marketing agencies that drives innovation, effectiveness and efficiencies
Collaborate and work closely with Multi-Cultural and Integrated Marketing teams to cultivate key learning and self development
Work collaboratively with Tier 1customer-marketing teams (i.e. Wal-Mart, HEB, Albertson's, Kroger, Safeway, Publix, Jewel, etc) to understand retailer and consumers needs to create and recommend programs that support mutual objectives.
Initiate strategic sourcing and negotiate win-win contracts with agencies, suppliers, properties, spokespeople, licenses etc.Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience. MBA degree a plus.
Previous experience in marketing to Hispanic is a plus
Five to ten years of Consumer Promotions / Integrated Marketing experience.
Prior experience leading a corporate consumer promotions team in a manufacturing environment (preferably food)
Agency experience a plus
Successful prior experience working with brand management teams to translate marketing objectives into functional consumer communication strategies and tactics.
Proven ability to develop and execute programs that drive sales volume.
Solid quantitative skills to perform post-program analysis and calculate marketing ROI.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to function effectively in a team environment.
Commitment to results; abilty to incorporate new learning into existing plans and act decisively.
Proven ability to manage, motivate, and lead people.
