KSCA News & Traffic Reporter - FT

·Regular and timely attendance.
·Redefine traffic reporting for the Los Angeles Spanish Radio Market.
·Ability to translate into Spanish and report traffic accidents and other related problems in the Los Angeles/Orange County Freeways.
·Inform the latest information on police pursuits on the spot.
·Recollect sound bites from TV and interviews relevant to the news/entertainment updates.
·Ability to cover important community events related to the morning show content.
·Help with incoming calls, take messages and respond to routine questions and requests.
·Abides by organizational norms and supports organizational goals.
·Persists and finishes projects under deadlines.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications for Consideration

·Requires working knowledge of Word and Outlook software packages.
·Requires ability to make personal appearances as directed by PD.
·Requires knowledge of interviewing and developing rapport with guests and clients.
·Requires ability to operate SAW or Audio Vault, and other production equipment.

Experience and Education

·High School Graduate or equivalent experience in field.
·3+ years on air experience with similar job responsibilities and requirements.

Necessary Language Skills

·Ability to read, write and speak Spanish and English.
