Forecast Specialist
Teva Sicor Pharmaceuticals is a global leader in the manufacture of generic injectable pharmaceuticals. Now a member of TEVA Pharmaceuticals Industries, the world's leading manufacturer and marketer of generic drugs, TEVA Sicor has an excellent opportunity for Forecast Specialist.The Forecast Specialist will work in coordination with Marketing Director as well as key stakeholders in Operations, Legal Affairs, Generic R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Sales and Marketing management team. The candidate will ensure accuracy of short and long term forecast and LBE of new pipeline as well as existing products. Candidate will identify issues; analyze sales and utilization trends in the market place to make appropriate recommendations to VP of Sales and Marketing on forecast and LBEs.Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly and as needed forecast for the entire commercialized GSPI product line (Specialty, Oncology, and Emerging products).* Prepare monthly and as needed forecast budgets for Finance* Prepare other monthly miscellaneous reports as needed (e.g Budget analysis, customized reports requested by Teva Marketing, etc)
* Responsible for annual and long term forecast plan
* Responsible for maintaining annual and long term LBEs* Owner of new product launch forecasting as well as maintenance of existing products forecast* Timely submission of monthly forecast through Oracle and LBEs to Finance
* Due diligence assessments/valuation* Track accuracy of monthly forecast & LBEs reports* Monitor and adjust sales budgets and forecasts of existing products.* Demonstrate analytical skills in understanding pharmaceutical market trends
* Appraise Management on: downside/upside potentials on sales trends and projections* Determine market utilization trends through IMS/DDD data and apply it to forecast and LBE
* Work closely with Sales & Marketing’s Management Team, especially pipeline and inline Product Managers as well as Production/Manufacturing personnel to make appropriate recommendation to adjust forecast & LBE.
* Inform Sales & Marketing management team of irregularities in forecast/LBE and make recommendations for senior management for review.
* Stay abreast of issues regarding new products by maintaining regular open communications with Project Management, Team Leaders, and by attending team meetings and working closely with sales and marketing management team (Product Managers, pipeline and existing).* Collect and assimilate feedback and information regarding future of existing products from Sales and Marketing, and other sources.
* Identify challenges and opportunities, which impact new and existing products forecast and sales.
* Develop multiple scenarios/models for solving problems and/or maximizing movement of product inventory

* Required skills: strong analytical skills, proficiency in manipulating data, assertiveness, oral & written communication skills, interpersonal leadership skills, problem solving, managing multiple tasks and projects, operating in a dynamic matrix environment, time management, adherence to deadlines, accountability, creativity.Preferred Experience, Education, Skills, Knowledge and Training:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in science preferred, MBA degree considered a plus.
Experience: 5+ years experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Direct working experience in project management, sales, marketing, or manufacturing operations is considered a plus.* Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Oracle and database skills.* Other: Demonstrated accuracy, experience and proficiency with spreadsheet (excel, access and other), Ad Hoc analysis ability, knowledge of software / vendor availability for forecasting, understand importance of qualitative factors in forecasting, ability to understand changes in healthcare market dynamics, experience in Bids and Contracts / Charge back process a plus.As a new member of TEVA Pharmaceutical Industries, Ltd., the world's leading manufacturer and marketer of generic drugs, we regularly seek dedicated and hardworking professionals with the necessary skills for our business.
