Forecast Analyst

SGI is seeking a Forecast Analyst to join our team of experienced professionals in Mountain View, CA. In this role, you will: Work with cross functional teams to gather information on demand and supply. Incorporate this input as well as independently derived analyses into numeric models to deliver an accurate order and shipment forecast. Update forecast on monthly basis, propose and present recommended forecast changes; understanding revenue and inventory impact. Independently and effectively organize, interface and influence decision oriented management meetings and discussions where outcomes will have a significant impact on demand planning and marketing programs. Project management across a variety of areas such as forecasting accuracy, overall reporting enhancements, integration of forecasting data into other market insights. Provide data and analysis to key stakeholders for use in strategic planning and decision-making. Develop and maintain a process for distributing third party market research. Work closely with internal clients to define areas of opportunity and develop compelling marketing arguments, relying on evidence from multiple research sources. Exercise a high degree of business judgement and sound reasoning in all activities including escalation of issues and risks and management of internal and external relationships.
REQUIREMENTS
Mix of experience with Sales/Marketing planning and/or Market Research. Understanding of the High Performance Computing markets and manufacturing process.Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Powerpoint BA/BS. 5-7 years relevant experience (MBA preferred)
