Director-Sr. Product Manager

Basic Functions and Responsibilities: Basic Functions and ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Product Manager assumes overall end-to-end product line management tasks and activities, including but not limited to building budgets, overseeing resources, scoping and driving marketing strategy, shaping sales training and presentations, plus building customer service metrics and architecting the overall product line vision based on market intelligence and competition. The SPM serves as the go-to person, accountable for the overall product line P & L.Responsibilities include:Developing quality goals, objectives, and standards with input from stakeholders to shape product line.Building and driving product line business plan, providing marketing and sales strategy input and working hand-in-hand with the Business Development teamIdentifying expectations with regard to timing of delivery and market launch, along with driving go-to-market strategies.Developing and managing communication with stakeholders across ETS to ensure accelerated and profitable product launchDeveloping and implementing quality control and customer service plans, in addition to processes for measuring, recording and reporting progressAbility to simultaneously manage multiple projects, people and processes in order to analyze and assess operational procedures. Need to communicate effectively in large and small group settings. REQUIREMENTS
Education: BS Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred but not required; strong presentation and writing skills are required, in addition to ability to solve problems assertively.Experience: Requires 5+ years of experience in K-12 educational products and services market. Demonstrated success developing and launching training-oriented consulting services and/or technology products to market. Previous product management experience with a leading K-12 company that serves the formative assessment, professional development or school improvement markets.Experience additionally working as an educator or district-level decision-maker is an added plus. This position will have a great deal of contact working with district leaders and retired Assistant Superintendents who are now working as ETS FOS Trainers.
