Director, Corporate Communications
Objective:
Significantly raise Junipers global profile and the company’s presence as an industry and business leader.

Responsibilities:
•Lead strategic communications for the company and formulate and implement policies and procedures designed to achieve business objectives.
•Consistently develop and implement innovative strategies to position Juniper as an industry thought leader.
•Develop corporate positioning messages that will be woven into all AR/PR materials.
•Create company story lines that will resonate with the press/analyst communities.
•Partner with Juniper's senior leadership on all matters related to corporate communications (M&A news, thought/market leadership, reputation management, crisis communications, community initiatives, etc.).
•Drive an increase in positive coverage with relevant business, industry and channel press and analysts
•Ensure all corporate communications efforts are consistent with Juniper's branding efforts.
•Spearhead the creation of a 360 communications plan for Juniper; assist regions in implementing that plan in their theatres.
•Work closely with IR and employee communications team members to ensure consistency of message delivery internally and externally.
•Provide overall PR/AR guidance to internal team and act as a primary interface with US PR counsel and theatre counterparts.
•Nurture and grow team members into positions of increasing responsibility.
•Take ownership for copy appearing on the Press, Analyst, and Corporate sections of the Juniper public web site.
•Ensure effective execution of Juniper's customer reference program, executive positioning program, speaking programs and corporate-level materials.
•Ensure that senior leadership is adequately prepared/trained/informed to present at customer-facing sessions in the Executive Briefing Center.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Background:
•12+ years of public relations and analyst relations experience
•2-4 years of experience managing a communications team in a publicly traded company.
•7+ years working with both business press, trade press and industry analyst firms.
•3+ years as a primary company spokesperson
•5+ years in enterprise networking a must
•International work experience a plus
