We offer a broad range of mortgage products designed to meet the needs of all borrowers.We need a talented individual to fill the role of Data Quality Analyst.The Data Quality Analyst will partner with BRM development members and the user Data Attendants (Loan, Broker/Contact, and Marketing) to research and establish quality controls for BRM production data. The candidate will pro-actively deal with the data quality issues and manage data quality relating to BRM and source systems data. Responsible for monitoring invalid Codes/Desc relationships, incorrectly merged Contact and Broker information and/or invalid data from source systems that may cause processing failures related to BRM reporting or campaigns.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Reviews data loaded into the BRM marketing data mart for accuracy.
Checks daily error logs and data watching for proactive monitoring.
Daily Reconciliation of incoming records and code/desc exceptions from various source systems.
Partners with the business to improve data quality.
Recommends technical resolution through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction and process control and improvement.
Recommends maintenance enhancements to data acquisition processes to improve accuracy of BRM Data.
Works with source systems to improve data acquisition methods.
Turns business rules into technical specifications for BRM enhancements and fixes.
Reports Data Quality.
Develops, documents, measures, and maintains data quality goals and standards.
Measures and report the management on the progress of data quality improvement.
Validation of Development Changes Post Implementation.
Support End-User and Analyst Reporting issues (Access).
Researches unexpected results.
Verifies if issue is related to source system, DW processes, or user error.
Coordinates resolution with BRM Mgr/Lead, source developers, and/or user.Education and/or Experience:
Bachelors Degree (Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline preferred) and 2-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Computer Skills:
2+ years of IT or business experience in a related role
Transact-SQL (TSQL) for Microsoft SQL Server
Oracle SQL
Practical knowledge of query and/or reporting tools
ETL experience
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Access
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
