Content Manager

We’re looking for a Content Manager to oversee the content development and execution of our website, editorial feature stories, marketing direct mail, online and email campaigns, site updates, and eCommerce related material.

Versatility is the key. If you have experience writing ad copy in a direct response environment, have managed content for a website in either an editorial or e-commerce environment and have a passion for new age and metaphysical topics this a wonderful opportunity. We have many editorial initiatives, campaigns and promotions that require attention, management and direction from the Content Manager. We are looking for a team player to join our marketing department. In this position you would be reporting to the VP of Marketing and working closely with our Art Director and other members of the marketing staff.

Three Keys:
1.Experience managing content for a website in an editorial or e-commerce environment.
2.Experience writing ad copy in a direct response environment.
3.Interest in new age and metaphysical topics.

Responsibilities:
-Planning, Scheduling and Management of content initiatives.
- Management of in-house and freelance writers.
-Handling of day-to-day editorial requests, approvals.
-Drafting original content pieces for newsletters and websites.
-Composing and editing original ad copy for direct response pieces.
-Overseeing consistency in message on site, script and print materials.
-Conduct the research required to develop ad copy, content copy and content initiatives.
-The ability to integrate marketing objectives into copy while maintaining a connection with consumers’ needs.

REQUIREMENTS
Required:
1.A creative thinker who can inspire, turn heads, or wow, with their ad copy.
2.1-2 years experience managing freelancers and editorial staffing.
3.2-5 years experience writing, editing and proofing copy.
4.2-5 years experience writing ad copy.
5.BA in English, Journalism, Communications, Advertising or related field.
6.3-5 years experience writing for online media.
7.Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects.
