Our client is a $250 million producer of dried tree fruits including cranberries, apricots and prunes as well as fruit juices and consumer beverages.

Northern California (Sacramento Area)

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Manages the development of marketing plans for all product lines. Makes recommendations regarding product line objectives and strategy including positioning, pricing, packaging, new products, promotions and advertising. Provides information to assist in planning, forecasting and managing inventories across all channels.
•Manages annual marketing budget to support forecasted sales for consumer and trade programs.
•Manages the execution of consumer and trade programs, in addition to evaluating performance to make recommendations for future programs.
•Manages the development of marketing collateral, shippers, FSI’s, coupons and sell sheets.
•Collaborates with agencies to help manage advertising (trade and consumer), public relations and promotional programs.
•Analyzes and understands the performance of all products including product trends, competitive activity, and profitability.
•Manages and assists with all Trade Show functions including booth preparation, vendor coordination, samples and giveaways.
•Supports new product launches including forecasting, sales materials, trade spending and consumer programs.
REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
•Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years experience within consumer packaged goods industry.
•Experience working directly with sales and successfully supporting their goals, with strategic and tactical programs.
•Ability to drive projects through the organization.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Budget management.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
•Ability to analyze the business (through IRI and internal data) and make recommendations to improve business performance.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•International Marketing experience a plus.
