Description:
Consumer products firm is seeking a primary researcher, food experience is a plus. This position will conduct advertising research, consumer trends, targeted research, loyalty research and more.

Responsibilities:

•Responsibility for data analysis and reporting of ongoing information resources (experience with Brand/ad tracking studies, NPD CREST data, Restaurant Trends data preferred)
•Oversee competitive ad and promotional activity monitoring – responsibility for reporting and alerting marketing management to trends of importance
•Interact with key partners such as Field Marketing, advertising agencies, media and promotions partners to obtain and share data
•Assist in managing market research surveys with senior direction
•Oversee productivity of market research suppliers - provide support to managers
•Provide analysis of ad hoc primary research as needed
•Aid in identifying critical success factors for moving the business forward
•Educate the business in using information and understanding its relevance
•Assist with day to day group administration
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

•1-3 years marketing research experience having worked with brand teams and outside partners
•Familiarity with consumer/sales data and reporting
•Familiarity with survey administration
•QSR or Consumer packaged goods experience strongly preferred
•Writing / strong communication skills preferred
•Analytical and interpersonal skills, and ability to bring the consumer relevance to all areas of the business
