Analyst II / Sr -Marketing

Develops marketing materials, sales tools, field communications, media relations/PR strategies, training tools in coordination with the appropriate groups. Serves as point of contact with device and application vendors in terms of marketing requirements and sales initiatives. Researches questions, problems, product development and/or operational questions or issues.Serves in a lead role for product development activities related to wireless products & devices and for development of marketing plans/promotions.Serves as a mentor and guide to others in relation to business unit work activities. Is able to plan most efficient and effective way to obtain data, analyze it and provide recommended course of action. Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Annual Pay: $37,800.00
Minimum Hourly Pay: $18.17There is no relocation package offered for this position.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements:Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing both to technically oriented audiences as well as customers and sales/marketing personnel; analyze problems and/or information and formulate conclusions and recommendations; multi task; use and apply project management techniques; train others in work activities. Interpersonal skills. Financial and statistical acumen, including forecasting skills. Attention to detail. Willingness to comply with all ALLTEL policies and procedures.Education andExperience:College degree and 2-4 years professional level experience; or 6+ years professional level related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.Qualifications:Knowledge of wireless products and competitive wireless landscape ; knowledge of wireless devices, specifically wireless PDAs and data cards; knowledge of high speed data technologies; market research methodologies; current and emerging technologies.
