Advertising Sales Account Executive

The Salinas Californian newspaper has an opening for an outside advertising account executive. Position makes sales calls in-person and by phone. Position is full-time and include the full benefits package.
REQUIREMENTS
Position requires proven direct sales skills, a talent for strategic thinking, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet daily deadlines. Desire a self-starter with excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills, time management and knowledge in prospecting and closing sales. Position requires a minimum of two years sales or market experience and requires a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, a reliable vehicle and a good driving record. Pre employment drug testing required.
