Administrator Real Property
Under the general direction of the Vice President, Commercial Development, the Administrator, Real Property, Planning and Development coordinates, plans and defines the multiple aspects of new program initiatives for the Airport Real Estate Department related to the development of facilities, leasing opportunities, facility utilization, customer service development, and/or Airport Real Estate projects in support of the Airport’s Strategic and Business Plan. Responsibilities include all aspects of commercial real estate such as monitoring market conditions, developing plans and budgets, evaluating proposals and alternatives, and writing and negotiating leases.
REQUIREMENTS
1) Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, construction, real estate or a related field.2) Three (3) years of professional-level experience in commercial real estate development, sales or leasing, law or public administration, OR3) Three (3) years experience in construction or property management and/or redevelopment of facilities. Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.4) Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:1) Strong Use of PowerPointREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1) Knowledge of business practices, procedures and terminology as they relate to real property, planning, development, sales and leasing.2) Knowledge of environmental regulations as they pertain to the protection and preservation of the environmental quality of land use.3) Knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of public contract administration, public bidding laws and contract funding procedures and requirements.4) Ability to read, understand, interpret and explain legal documents, regulations, financial reports and business proposals.5) Ability to develop, evaluate and present real estate plans and proposals.6) Ability to establish and maintain a variety of computerized records and manual filing systems.7) Ability to gather, compile and interpret real estate market and demographic data and trends.8) Ability to develop a real estate market information system, financial pro formas and cash flow analyses using personal computer spreadsheet software.9) Ability to coordinate work and interact with a group of professional and technical personnel in a manner conducive to full performance and high morale.10) Ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels within and outside the organization, both orally and in writing.11) Ability to establish and maintain effective and harmonious internal and external working relationships.12) Ability to prepare and present clear and concise oral and written reports.
