Purpose of Position:
Under the direction of the Western Region Merchant Sales Manager, this position manages fine paper merchants in a well defined sales area covering Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. This position will be located in the Pacific Northwest.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree
•Four plus years of paper sales experience with emphasis on business development
•Excellent communication and presentation skills
•Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
•History of building trust with customers and co-workers
•Computer experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Essential Position Requirements:
•Pursue and obtain new revenue generating opportunities at new and existing clients.
•Maintain current revenue stream from existing projects.
•Manage sales calls, including identifying prospective clients, building credibility, proposal delivery, and obtaining customer commitment.
•Effectively plans and manages sales territory such that business and financial targets are met and aligned with overall merchant sales targets.
•Possess strong business acumen.
•Follows and is knowledgeable of industry trends and the competition.
•Carry oneself with a high degree of professionalism.
•Ability to travel.
