ADVERTISING SALES (ADVERTISING) Sales for the daily newspaper including weekly products, special sections and online. This individual will focus on maintaining the core business while strategizing and developing new business to grow market share. He/she will establish strong customer relationships, understand clientsÕ business needs and develop comprehensive, tailored solutions to focus on their clientsÕ target customers. He/she will educate advertisers on the benefits of newspaper advertising, prepare and present proposals, resolve customer inquiries and meet daily deadlines. The successful candidate will possess effective communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), have strong conceptual and analytical skills, have ability to strategize business opportunities, analyze market research and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks. This candidate will have 3+ years of successful track record in sales; advertising sales experience in print, radio or television a plus. Degree in marketing, communications or business preferred.
