AAR Community Relation Coordinator

Aegis Acute Rehab, a subsidiary of Beverly Enterprises, Inc., is searching for a Community Relations Coordinator. You will develop and implement marketing and public relations activities that support awareness and utilization of the Orthopedic Center of Excellence. In this position you will make sales calls to hospital discharge planners, physicians, seniors' organizations, special interest groups, and other community contacts to build long-term relationships with client institutions and customers. As a general rule this position has significant local day travel, since the nature of the position requires you be out and about in the community rather than in the office.
REQUIREMENTS
·Minimum Bachelor’s degree in health related, business, or marketing area of concentration.

·Must possess a track record of successful marketing experience in a health care setting..

·Must possess computer skills of the types and at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets, ability to build and maintain databases, for example.

·Experience working with an adult geriatric disabled population preferred.

·Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills.

·Must be able to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.

· Must have proven skills to work independently, be self-motivated and goal directed.

·Must possess excellent organization and time-management skills.

·Must be detail-oriented.

·Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.

·Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

·Must meet all local health regulations, pass post-offer drug test, and pass post-employment physical exam if required.
