Shipping/Warehouse Worker

ScanTool.net, LLC is a company specializing in the design and development of automotive diagnostic devices (scan tools), founded in 2002. We have an immediate opening for an intelligent, responsible, and self-motivated individual to perform the duties of light assembly and shipping, as well as some warehouse work. The work is interesting and challenging, and there are plenty of opportunities for growth.

Our office is located at 10801 N 24th Ave, Suite 108 close to the intersection of Peoria & 23rd Avenue in Phoenix, Arizona. Students are encouraged to apply.

Work Environment25-40 hours per week. Schedule: flexible, Monday-Friday, can work between the hours of 10 am and 9 pm. Small air-conditioned office. Warehouse work is limited to loading/unloading, and inventory taking. Low stress atmosphere. Casual dress. Complementary snacks/soft drinks.

ResponsibilitiesPerform light mechanical assembly and test scan tools (no experience necessary, we will train). The task is simple and straightforward mechanical assembly and involves no soldering. Fill and ship customer orders. You will print invoices, pack orders, fill out paperwork and create shipping labels. Keep track of warehouse inventory. Keep track of shipping supplies, and reorder them as necessary.

RequirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be dependable. Basic math skills. You should be able to use a calculator to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and apply these skills to a particular work situation. Ability to work with little or no supervision. Most of the time, you will be on your own. Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Type at least 20 words per minute. Must be computer literate. Must be able to lift 50 lb regularly.
