We are looking for a Tool Designer to join our teamJob Functions:
-Evaluate product for manufacturability-Evaluate tolerances and tooling capability
-Highlight potential problem areas for the product and the tooling
-Prepare and design strip layout
-Develop and design tooling-Detail all components for tooling
-Source tooling to selected outside tooling contractors
-Track and monitor contractors for on time delivery
REQUIREMENTS
Education and job specific know how requirements
-Formal education in metal stamping tool design
-10 years experience as a tool designer in stamping dies
-Experience in tool making through formal education or tool maker training / apprenticeship
-Experience in a recognized Cad system
-Experience in high speed precision press tool design
-Experience in in-die measurement, part monitoring
