Supply Chain Integration Manager

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create/improve/maintain all supply chain strategies, processes, and procedures. Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive the NPI, make versus buy, and cost savings processes that create year over year cost reductions. Implement best practices in supply chain management across all international businesses.


DUTIES:
1.Long range planning for capacity and capabilities among CGI facilities, strategic partners, and other sources including coordination of plans for new offshore facilities.
2.Coordinate the shifting of production responsibilities between internal and external sources to support strategic objectives and to assure effective utilization of capacity and management of sourcing risk.
3.Liaison/coordinator of the NPI process for the supply chain management group. Participate in NPI meetings and coordinate with the appropriate supply chain personnel to follow up on all issues. Assure all new platforms and technologies are effectively sourced and that logistics considerations are included in project requirements, specifications, and planning. Develop a formal process on how the supply chain organization interacts with other organizations on NPI.
4.Oversee the make vs. buy process for supply chain management for current products and parts. Define prioritization of projects, accumulate data from appropriate sources, analyze the data, work with the appropriate teams to define ROI, assure decisions are in line with company guidelines and long term plans, and give recommendations to all levels of management on results. Act as program manager through implementation.
5.Coordinator/leader of product cost take out for the supply chain organization. Specifically will create and implement a formal process around product cost take out, facilitate cross functional teams, lead VA/VE events with internal resources and suppliers, track all projects, and report to senior management on continuous improvement.
6.Lead the six-sigma initiative for supply chain personnel. Participate in training as needed and act as mentor to any supply chain individual going through six-sigma training. Ensure all supply chain personnel are certified who enter the six-sigma program. Track project savings of supply chain six-sigma projects and coordinate reporting results to upper management.
7.Responsible for all supply chain management new and existing processes. Optimize the processes utilizing six-sigma tools including process mapping and value stream mapping. Utilize cross-functional teams give recommendations on improvements. Act as program manger in implementing continuous improvement projects and processes.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
·Bachelor degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, finance required.
·Graduate degree preferred.
·Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred.
·Experience in supply chain management, engineering, operations, program management.
