POSITION PURPOSE
To lead the Production Control Team in all activities of the Production Planning phase of the business
Manage production schedules between specific product families
Ensure Customer Order due dates are met
Lead and Organize staff for maximum benefit
Communicate group performance and expectations

Production Planners
Material Handlers

RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL
Works under limited supervision. Organizes and spearheads cross-functional process. Interface with individuals from various departments. Required to make decisions with minimal supervision.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.Develop and implement processes to prevent excessive material issues.

2.Follow Engineering changes through to implementation.

3.Resolve Backflush issues.

4.Control Cycle counts and adjustments

5.Verify over and under KanBan quantities per report

6.Responsible for Print Head count accuracy

7.Track and process material needs for R&D projects

8.Responsible for WIP material an Inventory controls

9.Responsible for the daily workload of the Material Handlers

10.MRP review and justification on all product builds

11.Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS

Education: 2 -4 year College degree

Apics Certification a Plus

Experience: 2-4 years production flow experience preferred

Supervisory Experience

Knowledge of DFT process, inventory transactions, receipts, transfers, and adjustments.

Understanding of Bill of Materials, the ECO process, waivers, Purges, NCMR’s, DCA’s,

Understanding of the Work Order process, Travelers, and forecast

Knowledge of MRP

Computer knowledge of Excel, Access, Discover

Analytical and organizational Skills needed

Ability to Organize and spearhead cross-functional process

Implement alternative control processes when necessary

Communicate cross-functionally verbally and in writing
