Quality Inspector

Job Description:
· Inspector will review the PO to determine applicable requirements.
· Inspector will assure agreement of revision level(s) of the applicable drawing and specification(s) as shown on the order, drawing/specifications and internal supplier documentation (eg. routers, quality plans, inspection data, etc.).
· Inspector will review the supplier's inspection records and results for material presented for acceptance, including the characteristics verified and any sampling methods used.
· Inspector will audit their gaging to insure it is under current calibration control.
· Inspector will audit the product presented, as follows:
· Visually inspect finishes;
· Verify dimensions with proper gages used by company;
· Visually verify part marking;
· Verify the materials used by review of the raw material certifications;
· Assure compliance with special order clauses;
· Review the packaging and shipping methods and materials
· Complete an inspection log of part #, lot #, # of pieces inspected, date inspected, customer, PO #, and acceptance of lot.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience Required: Aerospace Source Inspection or Receiving Inspection. Ability to read blueprints. Use gauging to inspect part dimensions.
Experience Desired: Aerospace quality background. Familiarity with Aerospace customer requirements. Gauge calibration requirements.
