DESCRIPTION
CEMEX is a world leader in the production, distribution, marketing and sales of cement, ready-mix concrete, and aggregates. We are currently accepting applications for a Quality Control Technician.

Responsibilities include:
-Sampling and testing aggregate materials, compiling data, and reporting to Quarry Manager & QC Director

-Investigate problems and offer solutions

-Respond to the needs of customers, Quarry Manager and QC Director

-Commitment to and supportive of overall QC Team

REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS
-Minimum one year in Concrete/Aggregate industry

-Certifications in ACI field testing Grade I and ACI Strength Testing (completion within 6 months in the QC Tech. position)

-Able to perform mathematical calculations including ratio, proportion and percentage

-Individual must be dedicated, self-directed, and detailed oriented to manage daily aggregate testing, analysis, and reporting

-Proficient in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word including attaching and e-mailing documents.
