QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

Our client is seeking an experienced professional to oversee the quality assurance activities at their headquarters location in Wisconsin.

They are seeking an individual with experience in quality assurance management who can work closely with all functional groups within the plant to design and implement quality assurance programs and procedures. They are seeking a leader who has experience in ISO9001, including certification, re-certification and auditing.

This position is located in the Milwaukee, WI area.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Work with senior business and production management to assure that appropriate and practical quality assurance programs are in place to assure the superior customer satisfaction while optimizing costs and profitability.
Oversee the Quality Assurance activities in the plant.
Develop and implement Quality Assurance programs and procedures for the plant and headquarters locations.
Work with multi-functional teams within the manufacturing facility and among the management team to develop and implement quality initiatives and make recommendations for improvements.
REQUIREMENTS
BS in Engineering, Chemistry or related field.
3+ years experience in implementing and maintaining quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with quality assurance at both an operational and management level.
Experience in implementing certification to ISO9001 and other operating standards
Experience is quality assurance performance auditing processes and procedures.
