Production Worker

Small company in Oceanside is looking for an excellent worker. The company manufactures vacuum pumps for woodworkers and the medical industry. The pump vacuuming sucks out all of the air making a perfect seal. All of the production projects are "short run" resulting in a wide variety of things to do. Boredom is unlikely! This is a two person company that has been around for over 15 years. Increased business is resulting in a need for an additional person. Job duties will include answering the occasional telephone call when the owner is on the other line or out of the office. Accurate recording of messages is highly important. Most of the product is less than 25lbs so heavy lifting is not required.
This is a factory position that requires a person who can follow directions and then work alone without constant supervision. The job specifically involves the assembly and testing of tools for the woodworking trade.
