Production Scheduler

Volt Services Group in Mission Viejo has partnered with a leading electronics manufacturing company to help identify a Production Scheduler for an excellent temp, possible temp to hire employment opportunity. Job duties will include, but are not limited to planning, scheduling, and tracking customer orders and expediting the flow of materials and parts between departments. This person will be responsible for reviewing all sales orders to confirm material availability, plan and schedule order requirements with warehouse, communicate and follow-up on special order needs, prepare sales order travelers, updating order pick and production, prepare and maintain schedules for picking of orders to meet customer requirements, track and coordinate any material shortages with Material and Supplier Management departments and through direct communication with Buyers, through utilization of the critical items database/ASN and through the MRP system, escalate RDD impacting shortages to Order Administrator, Production Control and Material managers, track customer orders using backlog and rollout schedules to ensure they meet on time production, shipment and delivery, interface with internal and external customers to determine customer requirements, resolve problems and provide order status, escalate potential shipment errors to Sales Order Administrator & Production Control Manager, compile and analyze statistics; prepare various reports for management. Requirements:

Candidate should have 1- 2 years in production scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
