RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: This position is accountable for selling support in the Branch which includes job take-offs, application engineering, technical assistance to Branch employees and customers, and coverage of architects, engineers, developers, builders, National Accounts, and utilities. Specific duties include and are not limited to: Performing take-offs from plans in order to prepare professional proposals and submittals to increase and support sales. Promote the York Unitary product line through product training to existing and perspective customers. Providing product and sales support through technical and pricing assistance for co-workers, customers, and others who may influence the purchase decision. Providing product updates to territory managers, customer service representatives and dealers through e-mailed updates and product presentations.. Provide visual product, application and technical presentations for use by Sales Personnel for both in-house and customer presentations. Prepare, maintain and distribute Branch price tags for both internal and customer use. Analyze, administer, monitor and manage Incremental Quote Program activities for Branch, including providing recommended sales levels to Branch management. Maintain competitive pricing and product data and provide analysis to sales group. Provide Branch sales, application and training expertise in areas of controls, energy recovery ventilation and energy management.
REQUIREMENTS


Candidates should possess the following qualifications: College degree in related discipline or trade certification in HVAC. Minimum 3 years experience in product application, system design engineering/layout and heat load calculations. Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of air conditioning, product applications and knowledge of competitive products. Advanced computer knowledge in Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, Power Point presentations and Outlook. Organizing and maintaining file and bid logs. Ability to manage time to meet job deadlines.
