BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for leading the product development direction and priorities for a product line in the Media vertical, the Product Manager will identify and analyze critical business requirements for the relevant customer base, and develop and manage plans for products that will meet the needs of the specific market.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research, define and manage the development of new productsSeek out, compile and analyze user feedbackLead in the development of products by effectively managing a cross-functional teamDevelop product plan, establish product priorities, and define resource requirements for developing and delivering the productServe as "product expert" to clients and client-facing groups within the company - Document product capabilities in sales and marketing-related materials

QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field essential; MBA preferred3+ years of product management, project management or sales engineer experience in a technology company preferredSolid working knowledge of market research a plusRequires experience determining customer requirements, developing concepts, leading product development, and executing product launchesRequires experience working with sales teams to ensure proper delivery of product messagesSuperior analytical and data management skillsExcellent communication skills, including both written and verbalAbility to analyze large information sets in order to validate product quality
Ability to apply creative solutions toward solving problemsAbility to manage a dynamic and intense workload and prioritize tasksProven leadership ability and evidence of positively influencing cross-functional team membersMust possess ability to work in a technology-based start up environment
Very high energy/positive attitudeAbility to interface with senior level members of company and partner/client organizations
