Packaging Manager

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Packing Manager is responsible for coordinating and directing all employees and activities required to package and process customer orders in preparation for shipment on a daily basis.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

1.Responsible for all phases of the packing function
required to plan and package daily customer orders
based on information from sales (50%)
2.Develop and maintain all sanitation, processing and
food safety standards required for handling, slicing,
and packing fresh mushrooms (20%)
3.Plan and maintain department staffing levels (10%)
4.Maintain and enforce all quality standards and customer
specifications (10%)


SECONDARY OR ADDITIONAL DUTIES

1.Train and develop packing employees (5%)
2.Maintain sanitation, food processing and safety
standards (5%)
3.Maintain accuracy of non-packaged product inventory (5%)
REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE FOUR YEAR COLLEGE DEGREE

MUST HAVE OPERATIONS (processes, efficiencies, budgeting, etc.) BACKGROUND, INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING, FINISHING, EXPERIENCE

MUST HAVE THREE TO FIVE YEARS IN SUPERVISION

MUST HAVE GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND ADVANCEMENT POTENTIAL

KNOWLEDGE OF PACKAGING HELPGUL

BILINGUAL (ENGLISH AND SPANISH) SKILL HELPFUL BUT NOT REQUIRED
