Business Unit: GE Infrastructure, Oil & GasFunction: ManufacturingResponsibilities: GE Infrastructure, GE Oil & Gas Operations is an ISO 9001 manufacturer, repair, and service provider for the oil-free screw, multi-stage and single stage centrifugal, and rotary compressors and expanders for the petroleum, chemical and pipeline industries.
We are in need of an experienced Manufacturing / Lean Engineer for our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering organization function located in Oshkosh, WI.
The candidates will be responsible of:
Lead AME Initiatives for North America and share best practices with other Oil & Gas locations.
Lead, direct and continually develop Advanced manufacturing engineering operations, processes and resources to support stated business plans, goals and objectives in coordination with AME leader for Oil&Gas
Influence working relationships will exist internally with other internal functions and with outside vendors, suppliers, customers and distributors.
Attend weekly cross-functional AME sessions and track/drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: -B.S. Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management or other related field.
Demonstrated Experience in heavily fabrication, machining, and assembly of Compressors, Power Generation equipment, or large mechanical assemblies.
Supervisor experience over a highly skilled three shift production operation.
Participate in and Inspire Quality Improvements and Six Sigma Projects in the production shops to streamline production flow and introduce quality improvements.
BB Six Sigma experience in Manufacturing environment.
