Master Production Planner 1

Performs tasks related to the planning, scheduling, and shipment of products. Uses MRP reports to plan the raw materials, components, and/or bulk required to support the master production schedule. Assigns work orders, and prepares/distributes the daily work center schedules. Monitors the operation, and adjusts the work center schedules, as necessary, to maximize productivity and/or meet customer demands. Collaborates with other departments as required to resolve quality issues related to inventory items. Verifies shipping order quantities, transfers inventory, and approves and processes documentation for freight invoices. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
Associate degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience required. Minimum of one years experience in manufacturing, operations, or material control. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English required. Demonstrated organizational skills and general knowledge of IBM-compatible PC applications required.
