Manufacturing Immediate full-time openings for Production Welders, Assemblers, Machine Operators, and Painters for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Lead initiatives to improve product & supplier quality, mfg. cycle time, cost, safety and customer satisfaction. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean Mfg., SPC. Min. 7 yrs. mfg. exp. and BS in ME, IE or related field required. Sr. Cost Accountant BS degree in accounting/finance. 3-5 yrs. exp, manufacturing preferred. Excellent analytical and PC skills. Exp with AS400 (BaaN), Access, Excel/Hyperion. Exp in inventory, variance, standards, and expense analysis and budgeting: labor rates, overhead rates, standard cost, PPV/surcharges/material variances, operations budgets, sales/gross margin reporting. Familiar with SOX compliance. Familiar with new product development processes and requirements. Lead contact on Government Contract Business. Must posses leadership skills. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. INVENTORY MANAGER Direct activities with accounting and purchasing to include development of inventory estimates and present the material to senior management, direct activities related to excess inventory on order and development and implement guidelines for appropriate inventory management. Ability to execute and interpret data analysis. Ability to do data mining. Ability to coordinate & facilitate meetings. BS degree required plus 5 -10 yrs exp. in Purchasing and Materials Management. APICS Certification preferred. Knowledge in use of BAAN, SAP or other related ERP application software preferred. Exceptional communication skills. Experience in managing materials planning and inventory control in a multi-plant environment. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally COMMODITY MANAGER 5 To 10 yrs exp in materials management/logistics/supply chain mgmt required. 2-3 years strategic procurement exp required. Demonstrated understanding of the global manufacturing process required. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, drawings, etc. Good problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to organize and prioritize data based on business needs. Ability to utilize spreadsheet and other PC packages to analyze & communicate information to other plant personnel. APICS & CPM certification is desired. PE or CPA preferred. Ability to manage a strategic purchasing environment on a global basis for a given set of strategic commodities. Must possess analytical skills necessary to conduct market analysis for a prescribed listing of commodities. Must have strong interpersonal and problem solving skills. Working knowledge of BaaN. ECO/IPD PLANNER Ensure that the release of engineering documentation is consistent with the Master Production Schedule. Complete all part information per the IPD process and order or coordinate orders to meet planned. Revise shop orders and planned orders. AS degree in logistics or related field desired. 3-5 yrs exp in materials management/supply chain management required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and interpret documents. Must be able and willing to make crucial decisions under time constraints. Extensive BaaN experience is required. APICS certification is desired. MANUFACTURING ENGINEER Continually evaluate and develop manufacturing methods to eliminate waste to improve product quality, lead-time and cost. Implement global best manufacturing methods, practices, and systems. Perform process simulation, define constraints, develop, recommend, and implement solutions. Develop and maintain plant and facilities layout to optimize workflow. Develop design for manufacture and purchase standards. Perform product and process cost and value analysis. Facilitate internal continuous improvement processes. Provide manufacturing technical support. Provide basic programming functions for nesting program and CAD CAM program. Understanding and experience w/ ISO 9002 standards and practices. 2-5 yrs of exp in manufacturing plus a BS degree in Mfg/Industrial Engineering, required.
