Maintenance Tooling Supervisor

Purpose: Job Description: This position is responsible for the daily coordination and supervision of work activities for the Moses Lake Tooling and Maintenance teams (Operations Support). This includes monitoring all work for quality and timeliness, daily 5S activities, problem solving and decision making on routine work, quality monitoring, interviewing/hiring, overtime scheduling, conducting performance appraisals and providing on-going coaching and feedback to supervised Team Members.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong orientation toward safety and quality
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance and tooling in a manufacturing operation preferred
- Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, including experience coaching and training others
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent mechanical, hydraulic, electrical systems and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively implement change
- Knowledge and understanding of lean manufacturing principles preferred.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Related technical ability and good understanding of production processes and equipment, maintenance practices and tooling and fixture design, build and on-going maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures
- Flexible and able to work extra hours as dictated by departmental needs and availability to cover weekend shift as needed
