Maintenance Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for our Glass Mat Plant, located in Shafter, CA. Reporting to the Plant Engineer, this individual will be responsible for planning and scheduling the work of approximately 10 Mechanics and Electricians in a continuous process manufacturing environment.We’re looking for a self-directed individual with excellent organizational skills who can work well in a team oriented environment. This is a fast-paced position that is responsible for the following:•Develop detailed job plans including the labor, materials, tools, and work procedures for repairs, alterations, & preventive maintenance for the facility & all types of equipment
•Short & long term scheduling of all maintenance activities
•Set-up & maintain Preventive Maintenance work orders established in Maximo
•Generate purchase requests for non-stocked parts & tools to support the planned jobs
•Prepare daily work schedules for the Maintenance Supervisor & approximately 10 Maintenance Technicians
•Manage & maintain the Work Flow Process (work identification, planning, scheduling, execution, & auditing)
•Lead the scheduling of down day & non-down day work
•Develop cost estimates, track spending vs. budget & performance KPI’s for Maintenance
•Maximo Systems Administration including providing plant support & training, updating equipment hierarchies, PM generation, etc.
•Generate performance reports
•Supervise Storeroom Attendant•Assist in the oversight of contractor work
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Maintenance, Engineering, Logistics, or related field with 1-2 years experience as a Maintenance Planner or Scheduler.
Additional desired qualifications include:
•1+ years experience supervising others in an industrial environment•Plant maintenance experience
•Excellent verbal & written communication skills
•Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization
