MANUFACTURING ANALYST

Position: MANUFACTURING ANALYST

Length of contract: 6+ months

Rate: Open

Location: San Jose, CA

Positions 10Collect and evaluate technical electronic component information – plating finish, lead spacing, etc. – for component qualification initiated per part change notificationsReview Sn whisker test results for adherence to JEDEC specification JESD201 class 2, identify gaps and drive closure of supplier qualificationWork with component engineers to resolve any confusions in supplier dataMaintain up-to-date notes, mange supplier technical documents, and write final qualification documentsRecord and track supplier part change notification progress for program metrics
Requirements:Excellent oral and written communication skills – the expectation is that the communication should be fact based and goal orientedProject managementDetail-oriented, especially regarding data analysisAbility to multi-taskAbility to take ownership and drive projects to closureGood interpersonal skillsGood teamwork skillsAbility to work independentlyProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPointFamiliarity with JEDEC specification JESD201 (Environmental Acceptance Requirements for Tin Whisker Susceptibility of Tin and Tin Alloy Surface Finishes) a plus
Educational Background:

Typically requires BA, BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or equivalent and 2-4 years of related experience; relevant experience in Manufacturing, Quality and Reliability desirable, prior experience in Component Engineering a plus.
