We are seeking exceptional candidates for the following:
SENIOR BUYER PLANNER Reference CRY#174
The individual will use its seasoned experience, professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Responsible for determining requirements and procuring materials that support both engineering and production schedules for assigned commodities, suppliers and/or material and parts. Ensures requirements are met through on-time delivery of quality materials reduction of lead time and total cost, supply chain control and maintaining inventory at planned levels. Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle to determine required materials purchases. Obtains material using engineering and production schedules to maintain inventory at planned levels (i.e., just in time purchases, use of EOQ-economic order quantities). Resolve discrepancies. Ensures material standards are met and non-conformances or variances are approved and/or minimized. Develops specification for new contract orders. Gathers quotations, examines bids and makes awards. Monitors cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value. Evaluates vendor reliability and develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive. Minimum education (or substitute experience) required: BA or BS in Business Administration-Graduate degree desired. Experience and skills required: 7-9 years of related experience. Computer literate, excellent organization and communication skills. Good judgment and initiative, able to maintain positive helpful and cooperative working relationship with all departments. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Interact with senior internal and external personnel. BaaN experience a plus.
ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (Fabrication) Reference CRY# 175
Performs engineering tasks in sizing, shaping, lapping, polishing, cleaning and inspection for product development and improvement with minimum supervision. Conducts root cause analysis for yield improvement and apply systematic approach to solving problems. Write working instruction and perform training and coaching for MT and process leads. Implements and monitor process controls to reduce variance. Promote safety practice and working effectively among different functions. Able to be flexible on tasks and working schedule. Minimum education (or substitute experience) required: High school diploma. AAA or advanced training classes a plus. Experience required: 3 years direct fabrication experience in substrates or optics, or related field. Skills required: Ability to complete engineering task with minimum supervision. Ability to pay attention to detail and multitask. Possess basic skills in approaching engineering problems. Must be able to read blue prints.
