Administration of the following areas:Supervise logistics department which includes logistics, import/export personnelAssist departments with technical expertise in regards to licensingOversee routing shipments, importation and exportation of products Work with US Customs to facilitate clearance process Perform internal import/export compliance audits and reviews Present training classes on import/exporting Process applications for import/export licenses State and Commerce Work with US and International agencies Assist in maintaining Import/Export policies and procedures Oversee Import and Export operations, including Harmonized Tariff Number Classification, Export Commodity Control Number, and license determination for worldwide product distributionMust be US Citizen or Permanent Resident
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:College degree preferred or related work experience, 5 – 7 years experience in import/export and logistics environmentPrior Logistics supervision experience required and must be able to interface with all levels of management Logistics supervisor must have detailed knowledge of all domestic and international freight and security compliance requirements Extensive knowledge of International Traffic in Arms (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and U.S. Customs Regulations Oversee Customs brokers and export providers (freight forwarders, customs brokers, etc.) Must have strong background in freight logistics, Attended import/export seminars Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications, JDE experience a plus Experience in the electronics industry a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational skills; strict attention to detail; ability to multi-task and prioritiz
