Position Summary:

Provides clerical or administrative support service associated with the logistics of the field or depot service operation.

Duties Performed:

Dispatch Function

Interfaces with customers, sales and service representatives to manage the movement of field engineers for the purpose of remote repair of MDC product, or the movement of MDC product for the purpose of local repair of MDC product. -Coordinates the movement of field service engineers or returned instruments, sets and manages priorities as required using good judgment based on information at hand.

Responsible for communication with customers, field engineers and depot technicians regarding status of product movement and work activity. -Responsible for the accurate completion of all billing activities in Oracle OM associated with Time & Material customers
Interface with other internal departments as required to resolve customer or logistics problems.
Maintains ORACLE CRM database tracking all logistics activities
Communicates with other MDC functions as required to facilitate repair activities.
REQUIREMENTS


Knowledge and Experience:

Completion of High School (or equivalent), 2-3 years direct customer service experience, able to operate general business tools: copier, fax, personal computer, and business software programs. Knowledge and experience with ORACLE OM and CRM a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to successfully interact with customers and manage customer expectations, required. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail. Technical background preferred
