CNC Machinist
The Production Technician (CNC Machinist) will need to have a minimum 1 year experience using conventional machines
experience reading blueprints, using calipers, micrometer, gauges, able to adjust offsets, 2 axis, and fanuc controls a +
Basic SPC Knowledge, flexible to 1st and 2nd shift.4 positions available at level 1 to 3Specific Responsibilities Include:1.Production of parts meeting drawing and specification requirements.
2.Set-up and operation of equipment, as assigned.
3.Perform statistical process control measurements and calculations. Complete forms or computer entries as required.
4.Order and maintain inventory levels of required tooling, gages and supplies.
5.Participate in assuring team tooling and material readiness. (Assemble tooling set-up kits, stage raw materials and perform external setup tasks, as required)6.Participate in setting and achieving team and individual productivity and quality targets.
7.Participate with team in continuous improvement efforts.
8.Perform machine inspections including daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance tasks.
9.Perform shop floor housekeeping duties.
10.Prepare daily production reports and forms.
11.Train other operators, as required.
12.Perform other tasks as needed in support of production team and team leader.
13.Work in a safe manner that promotes the health and well-being of the individual and the environment.
•Comply with all EHS rules and regulations and supervisory instructions.
•Report all incidents including injuries, spills, fires, property damage, and near misses to their supervisor.Education:
High school graduate or equivalent
Job Requirements 1 YEAR+ EXPERIENCE USING CNC CONVENTIONAL MACHINES
Experience and Background:
Minimum of 3 years of precision metal forming and/or component assembly experience.
Experience in assigned equipment set-up and operation.
Demonstrated expertise in setting-up and operating equipment for a single process (i.e. pin heading, sleeve heading, pin rolling, band annealing, drilling and/or assembly.) Is able to demonstrate ability in a second process.
Ability to train operators in equipment set-up and operation.
Ability to read and interpret product prints.
Ability to use inspection gages and instruments.
Good communication skills.
