CNC Machinist

Purpose: Aerotek is in need of experienced individuals to set up and operate computer numerically controlled equipment.
Machinists will need to understand and operate related computer programs to ensure correct machine. On a production basis, the individual will process work piece specifications and select, install and adjust tooling and attachments for specific programs and cycles.

This position requires multiple responsibilities including interpreting blue prints and related technical data; loading automatic feeding devices and beginning daily machine operations. The individual is also responsible for inspecting work pieces for conformity and tolerance specifications by using mechanical and electrical measuring devices in order to correct malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.

Day-to-day duties require replacing accessories, changing program parameters, maintaining machines, following all defined safety procedures and performing any other related duties as needed.
