Assistant Project Manager

Corporate project management coordination and tracking functions for assigned Contract Manufacturing initiatives, SAF project approval and tracking, new product initiatives, and sustaining engineering requests. This includes interfacing with the operations team, regulatory, NPD, cost accounting, quality, graphics, process engineering, customer service, planning, as well as the OTC marketing and contract manufacturing.

Coordinate communication among internal departments, and between internal departments and the customer or front end coordinator, as appropriate.
Obtain technical opinions and estimates of time/costs for new products and services, or changes to existing products and services, as required.
Coordinate SAF request/approval, prioritizations and track progress to ensure critical raw materials, packaging materials, turn key products and bulks are approved to support product launches/key project initiatives.
Maintain primary operational and planning contact with OTC corporate project managers. Develop needed corporate procedures to implement basic product development policies/processes along with adequate controls.
Assist the VP/Director of Corporate Project Management as needed to meet division and corporate objectives. Provide support as needed.

REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS degree in Engineering, Technical or Business required.
One to two years experience in project management required. Experience in product development preferred - hard goods. Familiarity with Operations, MRP and technical data management a plus. OTC or Rx background recommended.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Advance proficiency in Word Processing, E-Mail, Power Point and Microsoft Projects and Excel.
Team leadership skills.
