RN-ASC Nurse Manager

Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center has an outstanding oppourtunity for an ASC Nurse Manager at our Safford location.
This position is responsible for providing a safe and efficient environment for the patient during the pre-, intra- and post-operative phases of the stay. The ASC Nurse Manager is to coordinate, facilitate, and manage change efforts in the ASC and to manage budgetary responsibilities within his/her role.

Duties and Responsibilities:Manage budgetary responsibilities within his/her role.
Mentor and coach others to improve performance and enhance skills.
Facilitate communication meetings.
Maintain current knowledge of procedures as appropriate to the practice area and provide In-service Education opportunities for new equipment/techniques.Perform quality assurance activities and conduct quarterly QA meetings.
Implement Life Safety guidelines and monitors compliance to Life Safety regulations including conducting quarterly fire drills.Maintains personnel files.
Oversees inventory of supplies and medications on a monthly basis.
Insures all equipment is in good working order.Monitors vendor performance and reports via the QA process.
Have a working knowledge of the company Policies and Procedures.
Has a working knowledge of the State and Medicare ASC regulations.
Maintains logbooks with current information.
Ensures facility environmental standards are met.
Perform the duties of a perioperative staff nurse as defined in the Staff Nurse Job Description.
REQUIREMENTS
Current Arizona RN license
Current CPR, BCLS, ACLS
Prefer experience in OR, Critical Care or IV therapy.
Pre-employment drug screening.
