Quality Control/Assurance Manager

The Quality Manager role has been established to support and achieve White Engineered Products, WKEP’s, goals and priorities including the support of contract manufacturers and the interaction with our key customers. This is a highly visible roll reports to the Director of Operations. The position is located in Childersburg, Alabama which is approximately 30 miles south of Birmingham.
As part of our team the Product Quality Manager shall:
Establish quality control standards at contract manufacturers to ensure WKEP customer quality requirements are maintained

Work with contract manufacturers to develop and implement inspection and or construction methods and procedures designed to improve product quality

Revise, correct, and improve the Bills of Materials (BOMs) and other supporting documentation through a controlled process to ensure accurate communication to our contract manufacturers.

Travel to contractors to perform audits, implement changes and work for the overall improvement of the contractor.

Work with key customers for the resolution of quality issues and the improvement of the product quality process.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements

1.5+ Years Experience in Quality Control. Textile background a plus.
2.Ability to travel nationally and internationally
3.Effective oral and written communication skills using language and style appropriate to the audience and context.

5.Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

7.Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with customers and contract manufacturers of different cultures
