Quality Assurance Supervisor

The Judge Group, INC. is currently in search of a Degreed Quality Assurance Supervisor for a Large Poultry Manufacturing Facility located in AL. Qualified Candidates must have a BA/BS Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Animal Science, Microbiology, Meat Science is preferred. AND 3 to 5 years in a Processing/Further Processing Plant environment and/or a USDA Manufacturing Facility. Ability to communicate effectively with personnel. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High level of interpersonal skills, excellent leadership skills and motivational skills.
Demonstrate high level of energy, drive and initiative.
Ability to be self-directed and maintain excellent organizational skills. Intermediate level computer skills (especially literate in Microsoft Office).

Degreed in science-based field and previous work experience of a minimum of three (3) years in a USDA Manufacturing and/or a Processing/Further Processing Plant environment. Basic knowledge of SPC, process capability and trend analysis. Basic understanding of microbiology and how the study relates to the poultry/meat/beef industry and its environment.
HACCP trained by a credited International HACCP Alliance course.
