Project Manager
L. Robert Kimball & Associates is seeking a talented Project Manager to provide project management services to clients within our Mapping Sciences Division. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized, team oriented professional who can demonstrate resourcefulness, initiative and possesses quality team building techniques.
Overview of Responsibilities:
•Provide the leadership and energy necessary to motivate staff and achieve goals.
•Establish project scope and schedules between client, technical and project personnel.
•Coordinate project resources to meet client needs and assure quality.
•Lead the development of reports, analysis and project presentations.
•Meet defined project schedule and budget goals.
•Assist with marketing and client maintenance.
•Meet with clients and business development staff to develop white papers and proposal statements of work for potential projects.
•Negotiate with and recommend sub-contractors for project-related tasks.
•Accurate completion of project budget forms for project bookings to include financial reporting.
•Prepare and input monthly backlog projections.
•Provide input into employee evaluations and peer reviews; conduct employee evaluations as assigned.
•Mentor new employees and technical staff.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Associates or bachelor's degree in Geography, management or related field is required. Working knowledge of photogrammetry and/or surveying is required.
