Project Management Director - PMP Certified
POSITION SUMMARY:
As Project Management Director, this critical leadership position is responsible for ensuring that Company-wide projects are properly scoped and defined, and that Project Management protocols are followed. Project Management is an integral part of this organization’s culture and success and, therefore, this position reporting to the Special Projects Officer, Office of CEO, works closely with all executive, senior and line leaders.
The incumbent ensures that the Statement of Work, Work Plans, and the Project Manager commission for SAI-approved Projects reflect the activities and tasks, including agreed to budgets, resources, and timelines required to achieve project success. The position at the direction of the Special Projects Officer, Office of CEO, may supervise and/or coach subordinate personnel assigned to approved projects, or other subordinates as may be directed by the Special Projects Officer, Office of CEO, and provides technical and administrative Project Management support to the Office of the CEO and other leadership executives in the performance of their duties, including coordination of project management, business and systems initiatives, and monitoring and reporting of strategic goals and objectives for SAI.

REQUIREMENTS
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
-Demonstrated ability to develop and successfully achieve Project Success (On Time, Within Budget and Meeting Expectations).
-Working knowledge of federal and state regulations and requirements in Medicaid and Medicare that may apply to SA Projects.
-Extensive experience with Project Management techniques and technical components including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Network Diagramming, Project Slack Time computation, Resource leveling and other applicable algorithms.
Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
-Excellent leadership, technical, written and oral communication skills.
-Ability to communicate ideas and to assimilate ideas using the Systems Approach to ensure that technical, business and programmatic components are properly defined, agreed to, and followed during Projects lifecycles.
-Ability to work with little daily direct supervision.
-Ability to act as an internal consultant and change agent.
-Keen attention to detail and follow-up to ensure consistent and high-quality results.
-Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
-Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
-Strong communicative skills - both written and oral.
-The ability to be flexible and cope with changing circumstances and priorities is paramount
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
-Advanced Degree preferred with emphasis in course work associated with the MBA or MPM degree from an accredited university, or a related field of study with a minimum of five years’ experience in Project Management at senior or director level.
-Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially MS Project.
-Experience working in healthcare a plus.
-Must be PMP Certified through Project Management Institute (PMI)
