PROGRAM MANAGER

The Weingart Center is a not-for-profit organization located in the downtown area of Los Angeles.

The Program Manager is responsible for the overall oversight and management of an adult parolee populaton program. Refine program design and develop policies, procedures and systems necesary to maintain quality program services. Supervise program staff, monitor program implementation, service strategies and distribution of caseloads. Ensure that program services are delivered in compliance with the program design and company policies. Prepare program performance and fiscal reports as well as overseeing caseworker record keeping. Maintain and develop community resources and coordinate interactions with other programs. REQUIREMENTS


Candidates must possess a four (4) year degree in the Social Services or a related field and two (2) years experience working with a criminal justice population in a substance abuse program. Additional experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis.

It is desired, but not mandatory, to possess an Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certification by an agency approved and recognized by the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs (ADP).
