O&M Manager - GEAM Burkville, AL - Lexan

Business Unit: GE Infrastructure, EnergyFunction: OperationsResponsibilities: Day to day Operation and Maintenance of Combined Cycle Power Plant and Package Boilers.
Heavy emphasis on planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities including supervision of 4 maintenance technicians.
Lead by example in all GE initiatives including EHS, HR, Six Sigma, Quality, and computerized maintenance management.
Implement productivity improvement projects in cooperation with various GEAM Operations.
Train, supervise and manage employees' activities and resources for maintenance, repair and operate all equipment following GE practices. Maintain availability on 24 hr per day call basis with backup from the facility staff.
This position supports and reports to the Facility Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: BSME/BSEE required.
Minimum of 10 years power generation experience.
Mark V Control experience.
Prior management experience.
Steam Turbine and Boiler Experience.
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
Heavy Duty GE Gas Turbine experience.
Demonstrated experience in negotiation and business management. Working knowledge of computer (PC)software programs, i.e., MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word and internet tools.
CMMS working knowledge. (EMPAC)Desired: Field Engineering Program Graduate.
Power Plant Operations background.
GE technology experience.
GB Certified (GE employees only).
