National Account Manager-Foodservice

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a fast growing, branded Beverage Company that seeks an experienced National Account Manager. This company offers an outstanding career opportunity and enjoyable group of professionals.

Responsibilities:

Reports to the Senior National Account Manager.

Achieves the budgeted sales and gross margin for the assigned Region.

Growing existing business and new account Development.

Directs the selling efforts of company Sales Reps and third party Outside Broker Organizations.

Assumes direct responsibility and accountability for specific key account customers to include both Distributors and Operators.

Provides input to senior management in the development of Corporate Customer Programs.

Assumes the responsibility and efforts for Distributor and Industry Association Trade shows within the region.

Provides Senior Management with pertinent competitive activities to include new products, pricing and promotions, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

Minimum seven to ten years Direct Sales experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry (preferably beverages).

Successful track record of selling into many areas of the foodservice industry.

Must have a verifiable list of current contacts with appropriate Buyers & Divisional managers.

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year college or university preferred. Will accept the equivalent in work accomplishments.

Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time to include overnights.
DSD and warehouse background a plus.

Must have a passion for new products and long-term growth.

Excellent persuasive selling skills.

Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Must be computer literate.
